Scouts launch new volunteer membership system.

Online Scouting in hull

Volunteering with scouts in Hull just got easier, with the launch of Scouts.org.uk. Our brand new membership system for volunteers.

The latest addition to our volunteering transition, scouts.org.uk now is the one-stop place to keep track of your scouting. Replacing Compass, scouts.org.uk has all of the previous features as well as loads of new ones. Some of the new features include:

  • Digital training is now automatically recorded
  • Advertise volunteer roles through volunteeringopportunities.scouts.org.uk
  • Update your volunteering information more easily
  • Submit nights away notifications (Coming soon, please continue to submit them as before until otherwise notified)

This is just one of the changes we have made in Hull, making volunteering even easier and more rewarding. Along with our new system, we have also implemented our volunteer culture, changed the way we welcome new volunteers into the movement as well and created a team-based approach to volunteering.

We know that getting used to the new system will take time, but we are here to support you along the way, a user guide can be found on scouts.org.uk as well as Humberside Scout County having a range of resources online.

Along with these changes, HQ has also updated our safety training, the new module will help you learn even more about how to keep everyone safe when scouting. As such this new learning must be completed within the next 6 months by all adult members. The new safety training can be found on your scouts.org.uk account.
