This form is to be used to notify the DC where activities are taking place away from the normal meeting place of the group / section. It is accepted that this form may be substituted for a phone call if events are planned at short notice such as playing football or rounders on the school field (where the school is not the normal meeting place). This form must be submitted at least SEVEN days before the activity.
Submitting this form, requires you to undertake the following:
- Conduct a suitable Risk Assessment for the activity
- Read the Rules of The Scout Association relating to the proposed activity and confirm that, where required that an appropriately authorised person is attending (scouts.org.uk/a-z).
- Inform the GSL (for Beaver, Cub or Scout events), DESC (for Explorer events) or SAS Manager (for SAS events) of this event.
