The District Raft Build and Race: A Thrilling Adventure at East Park

We recently hosted an exhilarating event, the District Raft Build and Race, at the picturesque Model Boat Pond in East Park. This exciting competition brought together members of the Scout and Explorer sections for a day filled with adventure and friendly competition. Participants showcased their raft-building skills and raced across the width of the pond and back, leaving a trail of excitement in their wake. Teams consisting of four to six enthusiastic children gathered at the Model Boat Pond, ready to embark on an adrenaline-fueled challenge. With all the necessary equipment provided, the young builders put their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test.
