Last weekend, the Sutton Methodist Scouts Group embarked on an unforgettable adventure at Bailwood Camp. The entire group, consisting of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers, immersed themselves in a wide range of exhilarating activities, creating lasting memories for all.
The camp was abuzz with excitement as the young scouts showcased their skills in various activities. From mastering the art of campfire building to the culinary challenge of cooking in reverse, they exhibited remarkable ingenuity and teamwork.
A highlight of the weekend was the exhilarating archery session, where arrows soared through the air as scouts honed their aim and focus. Additionally, the camp transformed into a lively battleground with thrilling "It's a Knockout" team challenges that had everyone cheering and laughing together.
Building structures became an exercise in creativity and problem-solving as the scouts delved into den and bridge construction. Their craftsmanship and resourcefulness were truly commendable, resulting in impressive structures that stood as testaments to their dedication.
