Ascension Scout Group celebrates Coronation of King Charles III with Big Tea Party

On Sunday, the 7th of May 2023, Ascension Scout group had a joint Big Celebration tea party with the church after the church parade. The occasion was to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. It was a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a day of celebration.
The event was well-attended, and the atmosphere was vibrant and joyful. People from all walks of life came to participate in the festivities. The Scout group members were in full uniform, looking smart and representing their organization with pride.
The tea party was a huge success, and everyone had a great time. The tables were filled with delicious cakes, sandwiches, and other treats, and there was plenty of tea and other beverages to go around. The event was an excellent opportunity for people to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the flag bearers who did an excellent job of representing the Ascension Scout group. They marched confidently, holding the Union Jack flag high, and showing their patriotism and dedication to their country.
The celebration was an excellent example of how community events can bring people together, and the Ascension Scout group played a significant role in making the day a success. The group has always been an essential part of the community, and events like this only serve to reinforce their importance.
