St Giles Cubs had an exciting evening on Tuesday when they were joined by some local police officers for a night of pancake fun. The event was a great opportunity for the young Scouts to meet and interact with their local law enforcement, and the officers were just as excited to be there as the Cubs were.

As the night began, the Cubs and police officers worked together to make some delicious pancakes. Everyone had a great time getting creative with toppings, and the kitchen was soon filled with the delicious smell of cooking pancakes.

But the real highlight of the evening came when the police officers brought out their patrol car. The Cubs were thrilled to be able to explore the car and try out the siren and flashing lights. The officers even gave a demonstration of how they use the lights and siren during an emergency.

The Cubs were so excited to meet the police officers and learn about their work, and the officers were equally thrilled to spend time with the young Scouts. It was a great reminder of the positive relationship that can exist between the community and the police, and the importance of fostering connections between young people and law enforcement.

Events like this help to build a sense of community and promote positive relationships between the police and the people they serve. We're so grateful to the local police for joining us for the evening and giving our Cubs a fun and memorable experience.

We're always looking for opportunities to bring our young Scouts together with local organizations and businesses, so if you're interested in getting involved or have an idea for an event, don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our community.
