Hull Scouts District Team Update!

Skills for life text box poster pdf

As you will have heard at the Humberside Scouts county road shows in the new year we will be heading into and an exciting period of transformation within Scouting. With this in mind we have taken the opportunity in Hull to review our District team and start aligning its teams leaders to the new approach.

Each of our team leaders are responsible for making sure the Districts functions are completed and over the coming weeks and months as we transition into the new way of volunteering the team leaders will be ramping up their efforts.

We have already had a number of interested volunteers to help within the District teams. If there is a team you are interested in helping with please get in touch and we can happily find you a role.

Our next team we are trying to grow is the Welcome Conversation Team. This team will help have the new welcome conversation with volunteers as they enter the movement. We are currently looking for 10 volunteers to join this team and help us pilot and give feedback on welcome conversation.

Who we are looking for to apply to be on this team

  • Current members of the appointments advisory committee
  • Group Scout Leaders
  • Training Advisors
  • Section Leaders

If you are interested in this role or would like some further information please get in touch.

There will be many opportunities coming up in the near future. The district team is always looking for support and help so please take the time to read through the new structure and responsibilities and if you feel you can help then lets have a chat.
