Regional Conference

This year we will be joined by Jay Thompson, Deputy UK Youth Commissioner, who will be addressing us on Youth Shaped Scouting, and our journey to achieving this. Our new Chief Commissioner for England Alex Peace-Gadsby will also be attending her first NE conference.

This year will also see an opportunity for County Chairs to attend, where they will be involved in a workshop on Corporate Risk Management with the Associations Risk Committee Chair. This workshop is designed to ensure our Trustees are fully equipped to support the operation of Scouting in the changing world of the 21st Century.

Our ACCs will meet as normal to share best practice and address key areas within the 2018 vision in supporting the coalface delivery of extra-ordinary everyday Scouting.

Together, we have the opportunities to create exceptional Scouting, to enable young people to be better prepared for a brighter future. Sharing and working as a wider cohort, we learn more to achieve this.
