Change is Coming: Help Us Lead the Way! - District Leaders Meeting

You probably noticed we had to hit the pause button on the last all leaders meeting in the district. Blame it on a few reasons, but mainly I needed to sync up with Gary to map out the district’s future after I step down as DC/District Lead Volunteer.

Gary is on the hunt for a new Lead Volunteer, and we’d love for you to join us and share your vision for the district leadership team. Whether you’re a fan of the traditional setup or have some innovative ideas, we want to hear from you—and Gary especially does! It doesn't matter what your role is; we value every perspective and want to hear from everyone.

So, we’re inviting you to a brainstorming session on June 24th at 19:00 in Accension Church. Bring your ideas, your thoughts, and even your application if you’re feeling ambitious. This meeting is all about figuring out how to keep our district thriving after I step down.

Can’t make it? No worries! You can still share your brilliant ideas by emailing Josh dc@hullscouts.org.uk and copying in Gary at cc@humbersidescouts.org.uk, or just drop by the meeting.

Not every idea will be a home run, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. But your input will help us see the bigger picture and move forward. Even though I’ll be stepping down, I’ll still be around to support Gary and ensure a smooth transition.

So, grab your calendar and mark June 24th at 19:00 in Accension Church (not the church hall—it’s the same place, just a different door). Let’s get together and shape the future of our district!
