All Members Awards Evening

Calling all GSLs, Explorer Scout Leaders and Section Leaders
 

City of Hull Scouts will be holding an awards evening for our young people and volunteers and we would like to hear who you would like to nominate!

TOP AWARDS 2023
PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES
At Trinity Methodist Church, Newland Avenue, Hull
On Friday 24th February 2023

Would you please advise Bryce Turner, of the names and full details (Group
and Section names) for any members of your Group/Sections who would like
to receive their Acorn, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond award or
Kings Scout Award at this year’s ceremony. We would also like to invite any young person who has received the above awards during 2022 to recognise their efforts.
 
We will also be looking for nominations for two very special awards, both of
these awards will need a citation from their leader as to why they should be
considered for these awards. The categories are, ‘the above and beyond
award’ for a young person who has gone beyond what is expected from them
for their age group. Along with ‘leaps and bounds award’ for a young person
who has progressed in their scouting journey, above expectations with in the
last year.

Unfortunately, due the huge administration requirements for the event it will
not be possible to take any further names after this date.  This year all
recipients will be written to and advised to respond advising me of who will
attend with the recipient, as space in the conference hall is limited.
Any late communications will be returned to you, so the young people can be
advised.

The ceremonies for the Acorn, Bronze and Silver will commence at 6.00pm
and for the Gold, Platinum, Diamond, King Scout and Adult awards at 8.00pm. 
All submission need to with Bryce no later than January 27th 2023
