Beaver Scouts are invited explore the footpaths around Nut Wood and take part in a woodland walk. A quiz/worksheet will be available to encourage Beavers to keep a look out to see what they can see along the way.
Cost
This is £1 per Beaver Scout; this includes hot dogs, hot drinks and juice that will be available on their return to Raywell Park. Young People will also gain their Hikes Away badge.
What to bring/wear
Please ensure suitable clothing for walking on the day is worn, walking boots or sturdy footwear (no trainers). Bring a warm coat too!
There is limited parking at Raywell Park so parents and volunteers are encouraged to car share when possible.
When to book
Please contact Ann Cooper ASAP with the number of Young People and Adult Volunteers - this is to ensure enough hot dogs can be bought.
An activity form must be completed on or before 16th March. This can be completed online here.
Leaders will be responsible for walking with their own group so the ratio of 1:6 (+1) must be followed. All volunteers must wear high visibility when crossing roads and when walking alongside the road.
