Save The Date! Challenge Hike

Scouts and Explorers, up for a challenge? Then this event is for you! Get into teams of 4-6 to complete this challenge. Teams need to bring a meal they can cook for their evening meal over a fire as well as kit for camping overnight- remember, it might be a bit chilly! Breakfast will be provided as well as drinks half-way.

Team kit

• Tent
• Bivvy bag
• OS Map 293 (at least 1 per team)
• Compass (at least 1 per team)
• First Aid kit
• Food for Saturday tea
• Cooking equipment including stove and utensils

Individual Kit

• Day bag
• Waterproofs
• Emergency rations
• Torch with spare batteries
• Whistle
• Sensible footwear
• Sleeping bag
• Roll mat
• Spare clothes
• Wash kit
• Eating utensils
• Water bottle
