Cubs, Scouts & Explorers will have the challenge of building a raft, then racing it against other teams! Who will be the fastest?
Scouts and Explorer Scouts will be challenged to build a raft, then race it against other teams in the district. Who will be the fastest? Are their pioneering skills up to scratch?
Teams will be made up of between 4 and 6 Young People, with 3 to 4 teams racing at a time in 1 hour time slots, with a maximum of three teams per time slot. Time slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Cub Scouts are invited to race a raft, however they will not need to build it; these will be in half hour slots but there will be no competition between cub teams.
This is £1 per Young Person in the team, this is for upkeep of the materials used, and can be paid on the day.
Participants may wish to bring extra money for refreshments.
