Teams of 4 to 7 Scouts and Explorer Scouts are challenged to camp by themselves, including pitching the site and cooking all meals (of which the Saturday night must be on an open fire). The Young People will also have tasks and activities to complete.
There will be leaders on site to support them should they need it, but the Young People will be encouraged to do as much as they can on their own. This is ideal for PLs, APLs and Scouts with some experience / knowledge.
What to bring / wear
Young People will need suitable clothing for the weekend, and usual camping/sleeping items.
Groups will need to supply all their own camping and cooking equipment (any groups having difficulty in this, please let Keith know in advance so arrangements can be made).
